Kids will have so much fun they won’t know they’re learning!
Kids will be able to witness flying toilet paper, the world’s weirdest bird, clouds of liquid nitrogen and mountains of slime during spectacular science shows at Fun4Kids this year.
Questacon’s Science Squad are coming all the way from Canberra to thrill little scientists and curious kids at the festival on the 3rd & 4th July. Also, daily shows by crazy science fanatic Richard Scholes will prove science is cool and that massive smoke rings can zoom through the air!
In the Powercor Brightsparks Zone kids will learn about electricity and lighting through electrifying science demos. And budding young astronomers will enjoy the wonders of the universe all day every day in the Galaxy Room.
This year in the Fun4Kids Powercor Bright Sparks Zone kids will be having such a good time they won’t realise they are learning stuff! They will learn how pedal power can generate enough electricity to light a globe (and why the low energy globes need less!) and how playing with a Vandergraph generator can be a hair-raising experience. They will also discover that oil and water don’t mix when they make their own lava lamps to take home.
Fun4Kids kicks off on Monday, June 27 with 8 days jam packed with exciting activities and stage shows. The Powercor Bright Sparks zone is one of 14 amazing zones featuring a myriad of fun, including rock climbing, ten pin bowling, construction, dance workshops and of course the ever popular farmyard.
The three stages will feature the best of family entertainment every day. So don’t miss out, tickets are on sale NOW!
