Warrnambool is preparing to roll out the multi-coloured carpet for the 2013 Fun4Kids Festival.
In its 15th year, Australia’s best children’s festival will host a mega line up of entertainers and music acts for toddlers through to teens.
The Fun4Kids team is excited to announce Home and Away star and X Factor 2011 finalist Jonny Ruffo and 2012 X Factor contestants The Collective will headline the music acts.
And for the younger ones there’s all your favourite characters from Sesame Street, Bananas in Pyjamas and The Fairies, as well as Peppa Pig, SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer.
Also featuring in the jam-packed eight-day program will be illusionist Cosentino, comic, acrobat and juggler Joel Salom, children’s band the MikMaks and singer Nathaniel Willemse.
And there’s a huge variety of on theatrical performances by the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School Dancers, The List Operators for Kids, Richard Scholes Crazy Science Show, OzOpera, Barry Peters, Glenn the Magic Man, the Sleeping Beauty by Alpha Shows and acrobatic performance Kapow!
Festival director Luke Cann said the line-up was always much anticipated by children and parents in Warrnambool and throughout the state.
He said followers of the Fun4Kids Facebook page had been asking for a sneak peak for months.
“I’m sure we’ll have a lot of very excited children and just as excited mums and dads,” he said.
“We are thrilled with this year’s line-up and have some fantastic workshops we’ll be announcing soon.”
